[Seukon Exploration] A Remix Beyond Imagination, Coca-Cola X Mashmello
You Are the First to Try White Coca-Cola
Coca-Cola has unveiled a new project following the space-flavored cola, ‘Coca-Cola Zero Stardust.’ It is the Coca-Cola Zero Marshmello. Born from a collaboration between Coca-Cola, which delivers excitement worldwide, and EDM artist and DJ Marshmello, known for his unique music, Coca-Cola Zero Marshmello was inspired by Marshmello’s signature marshmallow-shaped helmet and is packaged in a white can instead of the usual red.
To celebrate the launch of this limited-edition cola, Coca-Cola held a house party at ‘Peaches Dowon’ located in Seongsu-dong. The event featured a wrapped sports car, a party with a DJ, and various experience zones. DrinKit editors visited this place that was hotter than the blazing sun.
Peaches Dowon decorated with the Coca-Cola logo. The space, adorned in white, black, and red, exudes a hip vibe. Like melting marshmallows, you can find unique designs including the Coca-Cola logo scattered throughout. After taking photos at the mini photo zone prepared near the entrance, you’re all set to enjoy the house party!
As a space commemorating the collaboration with EDM artist Marshmello, you can experience various music through all your senses here. The first thing that caught the eye was a rhythm game, similar to ‘Rhythm Star,’ where you press touch panels while watching the screen. Listening to the EDM music that makes your shoulders move involuntarily, you just follow the rhythm and press the panels. Two editors who had some experience with rhythm games in their youth teamed up and boldly challenged it but ended up scoring only in the 2,000s, far from the top score of 8,000 points. Although the game was not easy, playing it joyfully made us feel perfectly immersed in the house party atmosphere.
If you were captivated by the EDM sound that even made your heart beat while playing the game, be sure to attend the DJ house party with DJ artists on the rooftop and the first-floor exhibition hall. You can enjoy music from artists across various genres such as house, old-school R&B, techno, and hip-hop. Artists like Girls’ Generation’s HYO and SHAUN participate. On the rooftop, rollerblades and skateboards are available for rent, allowing you to enjoy the music in a more sporty way. Tables are also prepared for those who want to sip cola while listening to music. Listening to DJ music while rollerblading on the rooftop of Peaches Dowon is perfect for those who want to spend an exhilarating and fresh summer night.
There are also various photo zones perfect for taking commemorative shots. You can leave a stylish message in chalk on the guestbook or take photos with large marshmallow and cola can sculptures as backgrounds. What impressed the editors was the stunning wrapped sports car. True to Peaches’ space rooted in street car culture, you can find sports cars everywhere. The melting, flowing details and the stylishly placed Coca-Cola logos on the hood and doors catch the eye.
If you visit here, there is one thing you must take home as a souvenir: a one-of-a-kind Coca-Cola Zero Marshmello can engraved with your name. After completing missions including the rhythm game introduced earlier, your name is engraved on the can. The editors proudly returned holding cans engraved with ‘DrinKit’ next to the Marshmello character.
If you’ve read this far, you’re probably curious about the taste of this white cola. To give you a hint... it tastes like a perfect blend of strawberry and watermelon. While Coca-Cola Zero Stardust, known as the ‘space-flavored cola,’ tasted similar to cola-flavored candy, this one subtly carries the flavor of fruit syrup. Since it’s a product combining the strawberry and watermelon flavors favored by artist Marshmello, if you’re curious, head to a convenience store and try it out.
The Coca-Cola Zero Marshmello house party was full of fascinating experience zones. What stood out most was how music was infused everywhere in line with the collaboration concept and how many participatory contents were prepared for visitors to engage with directly. If you want a thrilling and diverse experience that stimulates all your senses, visit Peaches Dowon right now. This pop-up experience zone will be open until the 23rd.
