Gangwon-do Selects 8 Companies for Global Small Giants Autonomous Program
Up to 25 Million KRW Support for Workforce Training, Consulting, and R&D Expenses
[Asia Economy Reporter La Young-chul] Gangwon Province announced on the 18th that it has finally selected eight companies within the province for the "2022 Global Small Giant Company Autonomous Program Support Project."
The companies selected by the province are ▲SJ Tech Co., Ltd. (Hoengseong) ▲Yuseong C&F Co., Ltd. (Wonju) ▲Daeyang Medical Equipment Co., Ltd. (Wonju) ▲Nano Intech Co., Ltd. (Wonju) ▲HAS Co., Ltd. (Gangneung) ▲Hyundai Meditech Co., Ltd. (Wonju) ▲Taeyang 3C (Hongcheon) ▲Berrycom Co., Ltd. (Chuncheon).
According to the province, these companies will receive up to 25 million KRW per company as project funds necessary for carrying out desired programs such as workforce training, consulting, and research and development planning.
Earlier, in May, the province called for applications targeting global small giant companies valid until the end of December this year, which marks the fourth year including the designated year, and selected the companies through expert review.
Currently, 21 designated valid global small giant companies in the province can receive preferential benefits from overseas marketing support projects such as export vouchers from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, in addition to the autonomous programs supported by the province.
