Shinhan Life Holds 'Hangang Plogging' Event with Customers
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Shinhan Life announced on the 18th that it held a plogging campaign with customers around Yeouido Hangang Park in Seoul on the 16th.
Plogging is a combination of the Swedish word "Plocka upp," meaning "to pick up," and "jogging," meaning running, referring to the activity of picking up street trash while running.
The event was held under the slogan "Exciting Hangang Plogging Life," with about 200 FCs and customers participating, including Sung Daegyu, President of Shinhan Life.
Participants collected trash throughout Hangang Park using plogging supplies, including biodegradable bags and wooden tongs.
Agents and customers who participated in the plogging were given zero-waste kits composed of eco-friendly household items and eco-bags as souvenirs to encourage continuous environmental protection in daily life.
