Hanam-si Provides Temporary Support Payments to Route Bus and Corporate Taxi Drivers
Allocation of 3 Million Won Per Transportation Worker Until July 20
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Hanam City, Gyeonggi Province, announced on the 17th that "temporary support payments for route bus drivers and corporate taxi drivers will be made by the 20th of this month."
The temporary support payment is a special subsidy due to COVID-19 social distancing measures. If the payment requirements (income reduction condition, length of service condition) are met through national funding allocation, each individual can receive 3 million KRW.

In Hanam City, a total of 423 people, including 347 route bus drivers (1.041 billion KRW) and 76 corporate taxi drivers (228 million KRW), will receive a total of 1.269 billion KRW in support.
