KT Launches New Giga Genie Service 'Song Quiz'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] KT announced on the 15th that it has launched the ‘Giga Genie Song Quiz’ service, where users listen to songs and answer quizzes on Giga Genie.
‘Giga Genie Song Quiz’ is a music quiz service on KT’s Giga Genie that allows users to select categories by genre or theme, listen to songs, and guess the title and artist name.
The quiz consists of ‘Level-up Song Quiz’ and ‘Special Song Quiz.’ The ‘Level-up Song Quiz’ offers questions based on popular songs by genre and year. Users can enjoy quizzes featuring representative songs from six genres?Dance, Trot, Ballad, Girl Group, Boy Group, and OST?and from the 1970s to the latest hits of the 2020s. Players listen to a 15-second clip and guess the title and singer; as the level increases, the playback time shortens, raising the difficulty. Each correct answer from Level 1 awards 10 points, and the points increase by 10 with each higher level. Users’ real-time rankings are displayed based on their scores, enabling family competitions or participation in ranking events.

If users have Genie Music, they can listen to the songs they heard during the quiz directly on Genie Music after completing all the quizzes. To celebrate the launch of the Song Quiz, prizes will be awarded to about 1,000 top-ranking participants until the 21st.
