[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Joo Gwang-deok, mayor of Namyangju City, expressed deep apologies on the 15th for disappointing 740,000 citizens regarding the bribery case involving a senior city official.

Meanwhile, on the 13th, the Uijeongbu District Court (13th Criminal Division) sentenced A, a Grade 4 public official of Namyangju City indicted for bribery, to six months in prison with a two-year probation and a fine of 6 million won.
