People Power Party Floor Leader Group Appoints 14 Members Including Representative Choi Hojung and Senior Deputy Representative Kim Gilyoung
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] The 11th Seoul Metropolitan Council People Power Party (Representative Choi Ho-jung·photo, Seocho 4) has completed the formation of the first half floor leader team.
The People Power Party of the Seoul Metropolitan Council held a member seminar at the Seoul Human Resources Development Institute on the 12th and appointed 14 floor leaders, including the chief deputy floor leader, in accordance with the negotiation group bylaws.

Kim Gil-young, who has extensive experience in policy and political affairs, was appointed as the chief deputy floor leader overseeing Representative Choi Ho-jung and the first half floor leader team. The positions of political deputy floor leader, legislative deputy floor leader, policy committee, and spokesperson are filled with specialized members who have experience as National Assembly aides and party spokespersons, leading the negotiation group's policy capabilities.
Regional issues will be primarily addressed by experienced regional deputy floor leaders. The city of Seoul is divided by regions, and members with expertise in local issues, based on their experience as three-term district council members and as chairpersons or vice-chairpersons of district councils, were appointed.
The deputy floor leaders will play a central role in the operation of the People Power Party by discussing important matters of the negotiation group with the representative and determining the direction of promotion.
Representative Choi Ho-jung said, “We have become the majority party and ruling party of the Seoul Metropolitan Council by the choice of the citizens,” and added, “We are leading the rapid opening and organization of the council to show a council that works properly from the citizens' perspective.”

He also said, “This floor leader team was formed with members who have experience and ability in policy and regional issues to best reflect the will of Seoul citizens,” and “Together with deputy floor leaders who can communicate widely from the National Assembly and government to the party and local areas, we will carefully examine policies and regional issues and repay the citizens as a capable ruling party that works properly.”
