3 Dead in Collision Between Passenger Car and SUV on Road in Singadong, Gwangju
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Around 4 a.m. on the 14th, an SM6 passenger car and a Genesis GV80 SUV collided on a road in Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, resulting in 3 deaths and 2 injuries.
Three people, including a driver in their 20s and two passengers in the rental SM6, were transported to a nearby hospital in cardiac arrest and died.
Two occupants of the GV80 sustained minor injuries and are receiving treatment at the hospital.
At the time, none of the drivers were found to be driving under the influence or without a license.
The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident, believing that the SM6, which was entering the center of the road from a gas station, collided with the GV80 that was going straight.
The speed limit on the road was 60 km/h.
