Gwangju Saranguiyeolmae Donates Mobile Clinic Vehicle Purchase Funds to Korea Hansen Welfare Association
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Gwangju Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Park Cheolhong·Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae) announced on the 13th that it delivered funds for the purchase of a mobile medical vehicle to the Korea Hansen Welfare Association Gwangju·Jeonnam Branch (Branch Manager Ryu Jaeseon) on the 12th.
Attending the delivery ceremony were Park Cheolhong, Chairman of the Gwangju Community Chest; Ryu Jaeseon, Branch Manager of the Korea Hansen Welfare Association Gwangju Jeonnam Branch (CEO of Geumgang Electric Co., Ltd.); Lee Sookhee, CEO of Green ENS Co., Ltd.; Park Changgap, CEO of Sejin Engineering Co., Ltd.; Kim Ryeok, Chairman of the Korea Electrical Contractors Association Jeollanam-do Chapter; Noh Jeonggyu, Chairman of the Korea Electrical Contractors Association Gwangju Metropolitan City Chapter; Kim Youngil, CEO of Geumsan Electric Co., Ltd.; donors who contributed funds; and officials from the Korea Hansen Welfare Association.
The Korea Hansen Welfare Association Gwangju·Jeonnam Branch will implement customized medical services such as mobile medical care for Hansen's disease patients and expanded medical and home visit services for those with mobility difficulties due to disabilities or old age through the purchase of the mobile medical vehicle.
The funds for the vehicle purchase were collected from the Korea Electrical Contractors Association Jeollanam-do Chapter (30 million KRW), Park Changgap CEO of Sejin Engineering Co., Ltd. (10 million KRW), Geumgang Electric Co., Ltd. (10 million KRW), Korea Electrical Contractors Association Gwangju Metropolitan City Chapter (10 million KRW), Hyundai Rotem Co., Ltd. (10 million KRW), Geumsan Electric Co., Ltd. (5 million KRW), and anonymous corporate donors to the Community Chest (15 million KRW).
Park Cheolhong, Chairman of the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea, said, “I sincerely thank the donors who contributed funds for the purchase of the mobile medical vehicle to provide customized medical services,” and added, “I sincerely hope this will be a beautiful gift that brings great hope and joy to the families of Hansen's disease patients.”
