FSN Subsidiary Handstudio Partners with Grampus to Jointly Develop Metaverse Game Content
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] FSN, a KOSDAQ-listed company, announced on the 11th that its subsidiary Hand Studio has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Gramperse to jointly develop metaverse game content.
Gramperse is a global multi-platform company that has achieved visible success in the casual game market, having developed casual cooking simulation games such as 'My Little Chef' and ‘Cooking Adventure™’, which have recorded 25 million downloads worldwide. The company continues to discover partnerships that can strengthen engagement with casual gamers and plans to develop into a metaverse media platform company through various projects and collaborations.
Through this partnership, both companies will collaborate on P2E game business and services utilizing blockchain technology and jointly develop metaverse game content based on the IPs owned by both parties. This will enable the construction of an expanded metaverse platform ecosystem beyond the existing gaming sector.
The two companies will begin strategic collaboration starting with Gramperse’s P2E project 'PROJECT N', scheduled to launch within the year. From the fourth quarter onward, they plan to collaborate extensively by utilizing Sunmiya Club’s NFT character 'Miya' in B2C and B2B commerce, in-game NFT content, and their own metaverse platform services, which will be introduced sequentially.
Kim Ji-in, CEO of Gramperse, stated, “Based on Gramperse’s stable development and operational capabilities accumulated so far, we will closely cooperate and grow with Hand Studio to create a virtuous cycle in the metaverse environment, including games, fandom-based NFTs, and related metaverse ecosystems.”
Kim Dong-hoon, CEO of Hand Studio, said, “As Gramperse’s stable development and operational capabilities, recognized even in the global market, combine with Hand Studio’s blockchain business expertise, we will successfully expand the NFT ecosystem into the metaverse gaming sector. We will continuously expand Sunmiya Club’s IP, which extends into entertainment, characters, commerce, and games, through multifaceted collaboration.”
