Health-Boosting Desserts, Enjoy Them at Grand Hyatt
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] The premium bakery The Deli at Grand Hyatt Seoul Hotel has prepared a health-boosting dessert featuring ginseng candy and Danish pastry. The ginseng candy Danish will be sold primarily during the Sambok period, from the 15th to the 17th, the 25th to the 27th of this month, and from the 14th to the 16th of next month.
The Deli developed the ginseng candy Danish as a nourishing food inspired by Bokdari (summer health rituals) for this Sambok period. The ginseng candy topping is made by cooking high-quality Punggi ginseng for three days, and the Danish pastry is filled with Punggi ginseng chocolate. The ginseng candy Danish preserves the aroma of ginseng while mildly reducing its bitter taste.
A hotel official said, “This summer, instead of the usual Samgyetang or eel, we prepared the special health-boosting dessert ginseng candy Danish with the hope that guests will enjoy a sweet Bokdari and restore their energy.”
