GS Retail to Conduct Four Annual Rolling Recruitments Including Summer and Winter Internships
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] GS Retail announced on the 11th that it is accepting applications for the 2022 Summer Recruitment Internship until the 18th. The recruitment internship is a system where interns are hired as full-time employees based on evaluations after completing a 7-week internship, marking the second time following last year's Winter Recruitment Internship.
The recruitment fields include GS25 Convenience Store Business Division Sales Management, Quick Commerce Business Division, Management Support Headquarters, and Marketing Office, with plans to hire 00 people. Eligibility requires a bachelor's degree (or expected graduation) from a 4-year university or equivalent academic qualifications. For prospective graduates, graduation must be possible by August 2022.
Applications are accepted until the 18th, followed by an AI competency test and the first round of interviews in August. Successful interviewees will join as interns and complete a 7-week internship program. The final successful candidates will be announced and onboarded in October.
To support this, GS Retail will hold a live recruitment briefing on the metaverse platform 'Gather Town' starting today. GS Retail previously received positive responses from applicants by conducting recruitment briefings via the metaverse for new college graduate hires in the first half of this year.
GS Retail plans to change its new employee recruitment from the traditional twice-yearly open recruitment in the first and second half of the year to a quarterly recruitment including summer and winter internships.
