Osan Police Station in Gyeonggi announced that they urgently arrested a man in his 50s, Mr. A, who is suspected of killing his cohabiting partner in her 40s at their residence in Geumam-dong, Osan City, between the 9th and 10th.
On the 9th, Mr. A’s family heard during a phone call that he had argued with his cohabiting partner, Ms. B, and after losing contact with him, they went to their residence around 9 p.m. on the 10th and found Ms. B collapsed on the master bedroom bed, then reported it to the police.
Ms. B was found deceased at the scene, and no significant external injuries were reported.
Mr. A left a note at his home stating, “I killed Ms. B,” and fled. He was apprehended by the police around 6 a.m. on the 11th on a roadside in Namhae, Gyeongnam.
A police official stated, “Further investigation is needed regarding the motive and method of the crime.”
