BioPlus Obtains Special Import Approval in China for Two Types of Hyaluronic Acid Fillers
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] BioPlus announced on the 11th that it has obtained special import approval from the Hainan Boao Lecheng Medical Pilot Zone under the Hainan Drug Administration of China for two types of hyaluronic acid filler products.
The approved products are medical aesthetic hyaluronic acid skin fillers: the body filler "DeneB," applied to the chest and buttocks, and the filler "Skin Plus HYAL Implant," applied to the face including the forehead, nose, and chin.
Following this approval, BioPlus plans to directly import the products and begin aesthetic procedures through its own aesthetic plastic surgery franchise hospital, which opened in February within the Ziming Boao International Hospital.
Starting next year, BioPlus aims to pursue fast-track clinical approval from the NMPA (National Medical Products Administration) of mainland China and obtain mainland China approval by December next year to sell nationwide. The company also plans to open 30 aesthetic plastic surgery franchise hospitals locally within five years.
