‘2022 Geoje Badaro Segyero’ Opens on the 29th After 3 Years
At Jisepo Port Waterfront Park and Gujora Beach
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] The '2022 Geoje Sea to the World' festival will be held from the 29th to the 31st of this month at Jisepo Port Waterfront Park and Gujora Beach in Geoje City, Gyeongnam Province.
It had been canceled consecutively since 2019 due to the impact of COVID-19, but this year it will be held under the theme of 'A Festival of Hope for Everyone to Enjoy.'
Starting with the opening ceremony and the lighting of the Garden of Light at 8 p.m. on July 29, there will be celebratory performances, fireworks, marine sports competitions and experience events, a Blue Concert, a sea night market, Geoje seafood & themed food, a wave song festival, and fringe performances.
From the 30th, events such as the National Fin Swimming Competition, Geoje Beach Futsal Challenger, and Trail Run will take place.
