Hyundai Motor Holds 'EV Tech Lab' Workshop to Strengthen Global Electric Vehicle Maintenance Capabilities
Training Overseas Electric Vehicle Maintenance Service Personnel
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Hyundai Motor Company is strengthening its overseas electric vehicle (EV) maintenance service capabilities.
Hyundai announced on the 8th that it held an EV maintenance specialized workshop called the ‘EV Tech Lab’ to enhance EV maintenance capabilities in the era of electrification.
The goal is to nurture overseas EV maintenance service personnel through a specialized workshop focused on frequent and complex repairs, establishing itself as a top-tier electrified vehicle company with the highest level of customer satisfaction.
The workshop invited 25 key maintenance personnel from overseas EV service sectors in the United States, Europe, and Asia to Korea, and was held over a total of 9 days from the 28th of last month to the 6th of this month.
The training was led by excellent domestic and overseas service personnel, including Korea’s master technicians in automotive maintenance affiliated with Hyundai Motor Company.
Specifically, the program consisted of participatory courses such as ▲ ‘EV Tech Training,’ which involved hands-on practice of complex and frequent maintenance cases and exchange of maintenance cases among participants from different countries, ▲ ‘EV Tech Study,’ which covered learning about the latest maintenance technology trends, and ▲ ‘EV Tech Experience,’ which included visits to field bases such as the Ulsan Plant, EV specialized service hubs, Hyundai Motorstudio Goyang, and Genesis Suji.
Hyundai expects the importance of systematic EV maintenance services to grow in line with the global trend of expanding EV adoption. Accordingly, it plans to make even greater efforts to continuously nurture maintenance personnel with expertise.
Additionally, Hyundai plans to strengthen its EV maintenance data analysis capabilities in domestic and overseas service sectors to provide proactive customer service.
