Air Force 1st Combat Wing Conducts Environmental Cleanup at Dongho Beach
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Air Force 1st Fighter Wing (hereinafter 1st Fighter Wing) announced on the 6th that it visited Dongho Beach in Haeri-myeon, Gochang-gun, near the Miyodo shooting range on the 5th to conduct a beach cleanup activity.
This event was held ahead of the opening of Dongho Beach on the 8th, with 40 soldiers from the 1st Fighter Wing participating to collect marine debris around Dongho Beach.
The 1st Fighter Wing plans to visit the beach again on the 18th of next month, after the closure of Dongho Beach, to conduct another beach cleanup activity.
