Daejeon City Operates 'Open Market' to Support Excellent Small Business Owners' Sales Channels
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Daejeon City announced on the 6th that it will operate the ‘Excellent Small Business Open Market’ at Seodaejeon Citizen Square from the 30th of this month to November (9 sessions).
The open market is held to discover small businesses hidden in alley markets and to support their sales channels, which have been contracted due to COVID-19.
The open market will operate about 30 sales booths and experience booths for visitors per session. Participating companies can use the sales booths without a separate participation fee.
The city is first recruiting sellers to participate in the 1st session (July 30) and 2nd session (August 6) by the 20th of this month.
Applicants must be small business owners registered in Daejeon. Those who wish to apply can download the application form from the Daejeon Biz website, fill it out, and submit it along with their business registration certificate and a list of items for sale.
The city will review the eligibility and appropriateness of sales items for each applicant and select the final sellers, who will be individually notified on the 25th.
