Barogo Acquires IT Information Security Specialist 'Dronics'
Advancement of Information Security and Personal Data Management Systems
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Barogo (CEO Lee Taekwon) announced on the 5th that it has signed a stock purchase agreement to acquire 100% of the shares of the information security specialist company 'Dronix'.
Dronix is an IT information security specialist company focused on research and development of information security technologies. It is currently undertaking projects such as designated identity verification agency assessments, conducting security reviews including penetration testing, and carrying out various security technology research and development projects with multiple institutions.
Barogo explained that it actively pursued this acquisition in high regard of the security technology capabilities and solutions possessed by Dronix. In particular, it noted that the company is composed of excellent talents with various awards from hacking competitions.
Barogo plans to actively utilize Dronix's capabilities to establish an information security and personal information protection management system, thereby raising the overall level of information security within the company and establishing an effective response system against increasingly sophisticated security threats.
