View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] Daewoong Pharmaceutical announced on the 5th that Hwang Jeong-ho, Job Manager of the Hyangnam Production Management Team, received the Iron Tower Industrial Medal for Industrial Accident Prevention Merit at the '55th Industrial Safety and Health Day' ceremony hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
With 17 years of experience in manufacturing safety and health, Job Manager Hwang developed and introduced 14 unique safety and health management models exclusive to Daewoong Pharmaceutical's Hyangnam Plant in preparation for the Serious Accident Punishment Act implemented this year. Through this, he was recognized for contributing to the achievement of zero accidents at Daewoong Pharmaceutical's Hyangnam Plant over three years since 2019.
Job Manager Hwang said, “It was not easy to establish a differentiated yet effective safety and health management system, but I want to share the honor of this award with my colleagues in Daewoong Pharmaceutical's Production Headquarters who trusted and worked together with me,” adding, “I hope to contribute to creating a safer and healthier production environment by spreading the successful safety and health management model established at the Hyangnam Plant throughout the Daewoong Group.”
