The Gyeongbuk Regional Innovation Cluster support project (non-R&D), jointly hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and Gyeongbuk Province, has been promoted since 2018 with the aim of balanced regional development. After the completion of the first phase in 2020, it has entered phase 1.5 last year and this year.
Phase 1.5 establishes a corporate support strategy focused on the Tier-1 group, which has a significant ripple effect when transitioning from internal combustion engine parts manufacturers to future vehicles, and operates a focused support program.
Established as a future transportation safety cluster in the Gimcheon and Gumi areas, the Gyeongbuk Regional Innovation Cluster induces investment attraction from related companies and encourages companies wishing to enter the industry to transition their business sectors.
The Promotion Team plans to continue supporting co-growth and innovation among companies within the Gyeongbuk National Innovation Convergence Complex centered on Gyeongbuk TP, so that the future vehicle industry in the Gyeongbuk Innovation Cluster can become a new growth engine for Gyeongbuk Province.
This project plans to conduct corporate consulting and differentiated programs together with expert committee members who have high field experience and understanding in the science and technology sector.
The support contents include ▲focused support for leading companies ▲strengthening planning capabilities (Pre-Production) ▲business commercialization support for business diversification ▲export consulting support ▲online content production support, provided as a package. Detailed eligibility requirements vary depending on the support field.
Companies in the Gimcheon and Gumi areas wishing to participate can refer to the announcement posted on the Gyeongbuk TP website and submit documents via email from the 8th to the 14th.
