Subscription for Happy Housing in Suwon Dangsudong, Dongtan, Jeju, etc... 60~80% of Market Price
Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on the 4th that it will recruit tenants for 1,780 units of Happy Housing at eight locations nationwide starting from the 11th of this month.
Happy Housing is rental housing supplied at 60-80% of the market price, aimed at young people such as university students, youth, and newlyweds.
The subscription targets this time include 1,594 units in four metropolitan areas such as Dangsudong in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, and Dongtan 2 in Hwaseong, and 186 units in four local areas such as Sugok in Cheongju, Chungbuk, and Samdoidong in Jeju.
In the metropolitan area, there will be newlywed hope towns, Happy Housing for small and medium-sized enterprise workers, and general Happy Housing for youth, newlyweds, and the elderly. In local areas, only general Happy Housing will be supplied.
Applications will be accepted from the 11th to the 20th of this month through the LH Subscription Center website and the mobile app 'LH Subscription Center.'
For those vulnerable to internet access, limited on-site applications will be operated, and winners will be announced after November this year.

Seo Hwan-sik, Head of LH Construction Rental Business Division, said, "Happy Housing has the advantage of allowing residents to live in a better environment at 60-80% cheaper than the surrounding market price," adding, "We plan to supply about 17,000 units in 57 complexes nationwide in the second half of this year with various types of Happy Housing."
