Bonjuk & Bibimbap "Replenishing Energy with the 'Taste of the Royal Court'"
Release of 3 Varieties Including 'Jangttokttok Bibimbap'
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Bonjuk & Bibimbap announced on the 4th that it has launched new energy-boosting menu items that reinterpret traditional sauces in a modern way to help endure the summer.
The new menu consists of three dishes: Seafood Yakgochujang Bibimbap, Jangttokttoki Bibimbap, and Gondre Donbulbaek Bibimbap.
Seafood Yakgochujang Bibimbap boasts a rich aroma from stir-fried fresh seafood and minced pork mixed with yakgochujang, offering both flavor and texture. Served with a savory fried egg, it makes for a hearty meal.
Jangttokttoki Bibimbap is a newly introduced dish based on jangttokttoki, a sauce traditionally enjoyed in the royal court. It features pork loin sliced into 'ttokttok' pieces and simmered in a secret soy sauce-based marinade. Shiitake mushrooms are added to deepen the flavor.
Gondre Donbulbaek Bibimbap combines the sweet taste of crispy grilled pork bulgogi with gondre greens, whose fragrant aroma stimulates the appetite. For an additional 1,000 KRW, you can upgrade to a hot stone pot version, Dolsot Gondre Donbulbaek Bibimbap, to enjoy every last bite warm.
Along with the launch of the new menu, Bonjuk & Bibimbap has reorganized its bibimbap offerings and upgraded the side dishes and soup provided as standard (with changes in types).
