DB Group Appoints Kim Juwon, Eldest Daughter of Founding Chairman, as Vice Chairwoman

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] DB Group announced on the 1st that it has appointed Kim Juwon, President of DB HiTek Americas, as the Group Vice Chairman and Group Overseas Affairs Vice Chairman, and promoted Ko Wonjong, President (CEO) of DB Financial Investment, to Vice Chairman (CEO).
Vice Chairman Kim was born in 1973 and is the elder sister of Kim Namho, Chairman of DB Group, and the eldest daughter among the one son and one daughter of Kim Junki, the founding chairman of DB Group. She graduated from Seoul Arts High School and Yonsei University. Since 2021, she has served as President of DB HiTek Americas, supporting overseas operations.
DB Group explained the appointment of Vice Chairman Kim as "part of the major shareholder's responsible management and a personnel move to strengthen the group's overseas business."

Vice Chairman Ko was born in 1958 and graduated from Seongdong High School and Yonsei University. Since 2010, he has led the company’s management as CEO and President of DB Financial Investment.
