Support for 200,000 Won Voucher Card for Women Seeking Employment
[Suncheon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Suncheon City, Jeollanam-do announced on the 30th that it will additionally recruit candidates for the Career Continuation Voucher Support Project for Career-Interrupted Women starting next month.
The Career Continuation Voucher Support Project for Career-Interrupted Women is a program that provides a one-time voucher card worth 200,000 KRW to about 2,000 women registered as job seekers at employment support institutions (such as the Women New Work Center and Employment Welfare Plus Center) who wish to find employment.
Eligibility for application includes career-interrupted women aged 35 to 54 who have had a residence in Jeollanam-do for more than one year, and whose health insurance premium for the previous month is at or below 150% of the median income standard.
Applications can be submitted at the resident's local eup/myeon/dong administrative welfare center from August 1st to August 1st.
After being selected as a beneficiary, applicants can receive the card at the NH Nonghyup Bank Suncheon Branch (located in Yeonhyang-dong).
The voucher card can be used for purchasing books for job preparation, tuition fees, interview preparation costs, and other related expenses.
