Overcome English Anxiety Early! ... Gijang-gun Recruiting Participants for 'Summer Youth English Camp'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Gijang-gun is operating the ‘2022 Summer Gijang Youth English Camp’ for 4th to 6th grade elementary school students in the district during the summer vacation.
Hosted by Gijang-gun and organized by Busan University of Foreign Studies, the ‘2022 Summer Gijang Youth English Camp’ is an English experience activity program with native English-speaking teachers.
The camp will be held four times for a total of 384 participants, each session lasting 5 nights and 6 days, from July 25 to August 20.
Previously, the English camp was conducted for 4th and 5th grade elementary students in the district, but this time, 6th graders who have never participated due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic are also included.
The English camp consists of team project programs that communicate and collaborate in English, as well as various theme-based classes focused on interest and activities.
It is expected to provide children with motivation for learning English and differentiated field experience programs to understand diverse foreign cultures and offer customized education suitable for the global era, eliminating fear of English and making it more familiar.
Students who wish to apply can register online from 10 a.m. on July 5 to 5 p.m. on July 7.
The participation fee is 50,000 KRW per person, and students from basic livelihood security beneficiary households in the area can participate free of charge.
