This performance is hosted by the Korea Culture and Arts Centers Association and organized by Andong Culture and Arts Center to provide high-quality cultural arts to the region and contribute to the revitalization of literary and art center operations.
Musical Good Sewora Geumsuna is an original creative musical work in the form of a lively traditional Madangnori based on the folk belief of 'Gut,' combining familiar exciting music and rhythms of Samulnori with dance that moves the whole body.
The work depicts a farcical story of people trying to stop and protect the forest, which has been preserved for a long time, from being damaged due to the construction of a resort in a quiet rural village where most young people have left. It aims to convey the message of preserving and developing precious traditional culture and cherishing and protecting nature.
Seoul Arts Troupe, which continuously discovers and presents musicals with new themes and forms by realizing Korean values in performances and building excellent performing arts content, is a national and public arts organization producing modern and high-quality creative performances based on Korean themes and styles.
