CJ Freshway Hosts 'Chef Special Meal Event' at Hoseyo Nursing Home
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] CJ Freshway announced on the 29th that it held a chef special meal event on the 27th at Hoseyo Nursing Home in Ganghwa-gun, Incheon, to encourage nursing assistants and volunteers who have been overworked due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic. Hoseyo Nursing Home is the largest nursing facility in Korea, accommodating 400 people.
On that day, chefs from CJ Freshway provided about 20 menu items, including braised beef short ribs, duck jumulleok, and domestic raw beef, to 150 staff members of Hoseyo Nursing Home. In addition, not only CJ Freshway employees but also local community officials, including Yucheonho, the mayor of Ganghwa-gun, participated directly in serving meals to the members of Hoseyo Nursing Home.

CJ Freshway supplies over 600 customized food ingredients to nursing and welfare facilities, centered on its care food specialized brand 'Healthy Nuri.' The company expects the sales of the Healthy Nuri team to grow by about 20% compared to last year. Since August last year, Hoseyo Nursing Home has been receiving not only food ingredient supplies such as senior-friendly foods and Healthy Nuri private brand products but also nursing home specialized services including nutrition and diet consulting, hygiene and safety education, and cooking class events.
