This is to provide experiences related to wireless TVs, which are gaining popularity among the MZ generation.
LG Electronics revealed plans to run the club in collaboration with 'Catchball Club,' a donut brand famous for its unique interior design. The club will be open from the next day until the 28th of next month.
LG Electronics decided to open a unique experience space for customers to enjoy games and more using the LG StanbyMe, a wireless TV launched last year. The StanbyMe features a screen that can be rotated depending on the content being viewed, with adjustable height, direction, and angle. Users can control the screen not only with a remote control but also by touch. LG Electronics explained that these features have attracted the interest of the MZ generation.
LG Electronics stated that the club is not just a product exhibition but a complex cultural experience space where customers can directly enjoy various experiences with the StanbyMe. Visitors can freely move and use the StanbyMe at the entrances on the first and second floors. They can enjoy various content for free, including OTT services like Netflix, Wavve, Coupang Play, Watcha, TVING, and Apple TV Plus, as well as Kakao Webtoon, musical instrument playing, and drawing in lounges and other areas.
In the home training zone, visitors can ride an indoor bike linked with the StanbyMe and the cycling simulation app Zwift. On the second-floor experience zone, they can connect the StanbyMe to a console device to play games or watch videos optimized for vertical mode on the dance lesson platform OneMillionHomeDance app. They can also take commemorative photos at a photo booth collaborated with the self-studio brand Photoism.
At the caf?, visitors can enjoy various donuts and beverages from Catchball Club, as well as exclusive goods such as eco bags, notebooks, postcards, and keyrings featuring the StanbyMe Club logo.
