Import Association Discusses Economic Cooperation Measures with Romania... "Considering Dispatching a Buyer Delegation"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] On the 28th, the Korea Importers Association held a meeting in the association's reception room in Bangbae-dong with Cesar Manole Armeanu, the Ambassador of Romania to Korea, to discuss economic cooperation measures between the two countries.
Ambassador Cesar stated, "Romania has developed ICT, aerospace, and food and beverage sectors," adding, "In particular, the ICT sector is a key area that the Romanian government is focusing on nurturing and developing, and we hope to have business matching with the association's members."
In response, Kim Byung-kwan, Chairman of the Korea Importers Association, said, "We are considering dispatching a purchasing delegation with import companies interested in Romania's major industrial sectors in the second half of this year," and "We promised cooperation with the Romanian Chamber of Commerce and the Romanian Small and Medium Enterprises Council to expand trade between the two countries."
