ISO 14001 is an international standard for corporate environmental management established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Certification is granted through a comprehensive evaluation by specialized assessment agencies on the conformity and implementation status of the environmental management system. Orion was highly evaluated for setting eco-friendly management policies and goals, and systematically establishing and executing standardized processes within its business sites.
This year, Orion introduced a ‘Global Carbon Emission Integrated Management System’ that can measure key data such as greenhouse gas emissions and monitor them in real time. Additionally, the Cheongju and Iksan factories were selected as target sites for the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs’ ‘Energy Management System Establishment Support Project’ and ‘Carbon Neutral Equipment Support Project,’ respectively.
