Gyeonggi Tourism Organization Secures Gyeonggi-do for Philippine Broadcast 'Running Man'... Filming Starts from 29th
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Philippine version of 'Running Man' will be filmed in Gyeonggi Province.
The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization announced on the 27th that, in collaboration with the Korea Tourism Organization's Manila office, it has selected six tourist destinations in Gyeonggi Province as filming locations for the Philippine major public broadcaster GMA7's 'Running Man Philippines,' with filming set to begin on the 29th.
The filming, which will continue until August 4, will also involve the production team of Korea's SBS Running Man.
The broadcast will air from September to December over three months, with 10 out of 16 episodes featuring Gyeonggi Province as the backdrop on GMA7.
The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization expects significant promotional effects for Gyeonggi's tourist sites through the 'Running Man Philippines' broadcast.

An official from the organization stated, "By exposing Gyeonggi Province as a filming location for a popular program aired during the Philippine weekend prime time, interest among the Filipino public in Gyeonggi will increase," adding, "We hope this will lead to an increase in visitors to Gyeonggi and the planning of local travel products related to Gyeonggi."
