"Give Me the Money" 50-Year-Old Man Arrested on the Spot for Bringing a Weapon to Relative's House

[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] A man who threatened his relatives to hand over money was caught by the police.
On the 24th, the Suseo Police Station in Seoul announced that they have booked and are investigating a man in his 50s, Mr. A, on suspicion of attempted robbery.
Mr. A is suspected of visiting a relative's house living in a villa in Dogok-dong, Seoul, around 9:30 PM the previous day and making threats. It was confirmed that Mr. A was carrying a knife at the time.
The police identified that Mr. A has a mental illness and took emergency hospitalization measures to prevent the possibility of reoffending.

A police official stated, "Since this is an urgent matter, emergency hospitalization measures have been taken for now," and added, "We plan to ascertain the exact circumstances of the incident later."
