At this council meeting, the current status and achievements of the Export Voucher Project were shared, and the organizations agreed to strengthen cooperation to support exports by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-sized companies. The lead implementing agencies manage the quality of voucher services and select implementing agencies (service providers) by sector.
Introduced in 2017, the Export Voucher Project provides customized export support services such as design development, promotion, and participation in exhibitions, receiving strong responses from companies. This year, the budget has expanded to 155 billion KRW, supporting approximately 5,000 domestic and export SMEs. Currently, about 2,300 implementing agencies provide around 7,800 voucher services annually.
In addition, KOTRA, the Small and Medium Business Corporation, and other council participants declared a joint statement to promote ethics and integrity in the execution of the Export Voucher Project, pledging to spread a culture of integrity and lead ethical management.
