[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] 'Geonsarang,' a fan cafe of First Lady Kim Keon-hee, filed a complaint against a reporter from the internet media outlet Seoul Voice who was holding a rally in front of President Yoon Suk-yeol's residence in Seocho-dong.
On the 23rd at around 2 p.m., Lee Seunghwan, the representative of Geonsarang, submitted a complaint to the Seocho Police Station in Seoul, requesting punishment for reporter Jung Mo, affiliated with Seoul Voice, on charges of violating the Information and Communications Network Act (defamation).
Lee stated, "The reporter, along with representative Baek Eun-jong, has been continuously using the term 'stock manipulation criminal Kim Keon-hee' by displaying placards and banners in front of President Yoon's residence," adding, "Since the charges against the First Lady have not yet been confirmed, regardless of the truth, we decided to file a complaint for defamation of the First Lady."
Previously, Lee had visited the Mapo Police Station in Seoul to submit a complaint against representative Baek Eun-jong on charges of defamation by false facts under the Criminal Act and defamation under the Information and Communications Network Act.

Meanwhile, Seoul Voice has been continuing protests for over a week in front of President Yoon's residence in Seocho-dong. This is in protest against conservative groups holding demonstrations in front of former President Moon Jae-in's Yangsan residence.
