Huons Obtains Chinese Patent for 'Chajeogi Extract Ferment' Ingredient Improving Sleep Quality in Health Functional Foods
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] Huons announced on the 23rd that it has obtained a Chinese patent for 'Chajeogi Extract Fermentate (HU-054),' a raw material for health functional foods that improve sleep quality, which has been jointly researched with Professor Jeong I-sook's research team at Ajou University.
This patent is a composition patent owned by Ajou University and exclusively licensed to Huons. It is the first recognition overseas of the sleep disorder prevention effect and technological value of Chajeogi Extract Fermentate, which obtained a domestic patent in 2018.
Huons plans to accelerate obtaining overseas patents in the US, Europe, Japan, and other regions following China to gain recognition for the raw material and technological value in the global market.
