GH Holds 'Safety Labor Council' to Inspect Safety Accidents at Construction Sites
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) held a Safety Labor Council meeting to prevent safety accidents at construction sites.
GH announced on the 23rd that it held a Safety Labor Council meeting on the 22nd at the GH Gwanggyo Project Group to discuss important matters related to safety and health.
At the meeting, the following were discussed: ▲ Results of safety consulting inspections at construction sites ▲ Operation direction of the smart safety management integrated control system ▲ Promotion of GH’s safety and health proposal system. The smart safety management integrated control system refers to an AI-based real-time risk assessment, construction site control, and accident prediction system.
GH also held a non-face-to-face video conference with representatives from 21 construction sites in the province to conduct in-depth discussions on measures to respond to the Serious Accidents Punishment Act.
Jeon Hyung-soo, Acting President (Vice President) of GH, emphasized, "We will do our best to raise the safety level of construction sites through pilot operation of the smart safety management integrated control system and designation of special management sites for safe construction sites."

As part of its people-centered safety management, GH is implementing ▲ Placement of a safety-dedicated organization directly under the president ▲ Strengthening safety and health education ▲ Establishment of special conditions for safety contracts ▲ Conducting safety consulting at construction sites ▲ Preparing internal application standards that allow up to 160% additional settlement of industrial safety and health management costs at construction sites.
