Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance Offers Digital Healthcare Service 'Anyfit Plus'
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance announced on the 23rd that it will launch 'Anyfit Plus,' a digital healthcare service that improves the health promotion service 'Anyfit.'
This service supports users to manage chronic diseases and daily health habits on their own based on highly reliable health risk analysis results developed by medical staff at Severance Hospital. Anyone aged 15 or older can use it simply by installing the app.
'Anyfit Plus' consists of three main services: 'Health Check,' 'Daily Care,' and 'Chronic Disease Care.'
The core function, 'Health Check,' adopts AI machine learning developed by the AI Research Institute of Severance Hospital. This is the first domestic model that analyzes 10 years of past health checkup data to predict the probability of disease occurrence over the next 10 years.
If users agree to utilize data from the National Health Insurance Service or directly answer surveys, they can learn their health age, life expectancy, and the 10-year risk of developing 16 representative diseases common among Koreans.
For each disease, the service also provides information on the user's health status compared to peers of the same age and gender, as well as key factors influencing the risk of that disease. Through this, users can recognize diseases with a high likelihood of occurrence and plan their future health management accordingly.
There is also a 'Daily Care' function that involves completing exercise missions and recording missions. Users receive Any Points once a day for achieving three exercise missions such as walking and six recording missions involving health habits like weight input.
Completing both types of missions allows users to spin a roulette or play ladder games to earn up to 1,050 points. This feature offers the advantage of forming healthy lifestyle habits while simultaneously engaging in app-based rewards. One point is equivalent to one Korean won, and points are valid for three years.
Lastly, the service provides 'Chronic Disease Care,' also known as 'Gogodang Care.' It supports self-management of chronic diseases through the concept of cardiovascular age related to hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and diabetes.
Users check their current cardiovascular age and select three out of eight lifestyle habits, including exercise, weight, and blood pressure, to set a 12-week lifestyle improvement plan.
'Anyfit Plus' encourages users to record their lifestyle habits during this period and provides recalculated cardiovascular age results after 12 weeks.
