The stationary front that brought monsoon rain to Jeju until the morning of the 21st will remain over Japan on the 22nd. On the 23rd, the stationary front will form again over central China, and a low-pressure system developing along this front will approach Korea, bringing a considerable amount of monsoon rain nationwide on the 23rd and 24th.
In the eastern inland areas of Jeolla, western inland areas of Gyeongsang, and mountainous areas of Gangwon, showers of 5 to 40 mm are expected on the afternoon of the 22nd instead of monsoon rain. When showers occur, gusty winds, thunder, and lightning may happen, so precautions are necessary.
