This consulting selected 16 projects subject to gender impact assessment this year, and a professional consultant from the Gyeongbuk Women's Policy Development Institute provided guidance on writing the gender impact assessment reports for the projects and offered policy improvement plans to realize gender equality.
The project selection prioritized new, pledged, job-related, youth, 4th Industrial Revolution, and safety projects that could have a significant impact on gender equality. The gender impact assessment consultant initially selected 16 target projects, and on this day, 1:1 face-to-face consulting was conducted with the managers of each department.
Through this consulting, the county plans to systematically review and evaluate gender-discriminatory factors arising during the implementation of major projects, reflect policy improvements, derive planning measures, and promote them. They also plan to strive to realize a gender-equal society based on the results of these evaluations.
