Ministry of Economy and Finance Lottery Commission Volunteers with Actress Kim So-yeon to Paint Elementary School Murals
[Asia Economy Sejong=Reporter Son Seon-hee] The Ministry of Economy and Finance Lottery Commission announced on the 21st that actress Kim So-yeon was appointed as the Happiness Sympathy Volunteer Group Leader for the second consecutive year and carried out volunteer activities.
On the same day, the Ministry held the 15th Happiness Sympathy Volunteer Group Launch Ceremony and the 1st volunteer activity at Sinsa Elementary School in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul. Choi Sang-dae, the 2nd Vice Minister of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and chairman of the Lottery Commission, presented Kim with the appointment certificate as the volunteer group leader and encouraged the volunteers.
The attendees painted a mural on the interior wall along approximately 100 meters of the pedestrian entrance at Sinsa Elementary School. The purpose was to provide psychological stability to students and create a pleasant route to and from school by improving the environment near the school.
