[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] The 'Art Fair Daegu 2022,' where famous domestic galleries and audiences meet directly, will be held for four days from the 23rd to the 26th at Daegu EXCO West Hall 1 and 2.
This event, under the slogan 'Going Art Shopping in June,' aims to create a communication channel to pioneer a new way of art trading and provide new inspiration and ideas based on artwork interpretation.
It will also showcase over 5,000 works by 500 leading domestic and international contemporary artists.
In particular, major domestic galleries such as Smartist Gallery, Artpexel, Jeong Guchan Gallery, Yesung Gallery, Date Gallery, and Showroom Gallery will present works by overseas artists like Alex Katz, David Goldstein, Damien Hirst, Bernard Buffet, as well as major domestic artists including Kim Chang-yeol, Lee Ufan, Choi Byung-so, Kim Dong-yu, and Yoon Byung-rak.
Additionally, galleries such as Gallery Cheongae, Lee Sang-sook Gallery, Gallery Yegang, Gallery Morandongbaek, Gallery Mirunamu, and Lee Eun Gallery will feature works by recent domestic blue-chip artists Kim Chan-joo, Jung Woo-beom, Choi Seong-hwan, and Jang Ki-young all in one place.
