[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Gwiyeol] Complaints related to mountainous areas can now be resolved easily online.
Cheongsong-gun, Gyeongbuk Province announced on the 20th that it will implement the "Integrated Mountainous Area Conversion Information System," which allows convenient online applications for mountainous area-related civil complaints such as mountainous area conversion permits, starting from July 5.
Until now, civil complaints related to mountainous area permits could not be applied for online, requiring applicants to bring documents in person to local governments or regional forest offices, causing inconvenience.
With the establishment of this system, mountainous area conversion complaints can be applied for online from anywhere nationwide, increasing convenience and enabling faster processing.
The applicable complaints include mountainous area conversion permits and reports, temporary use permits and reports for mountainous areas, imposition and collection of alternative forest resource creation fees, approval of land use changes, permits and reports for earth and stone excavation, designation and cancellation of quarry complexes, and quarry reports.
For convenience, GIS-based spatial information such as parcel information inquiry and thematic map confirmation is provided, and the progress status of complaints can be checked in real-time via the website and text messages.
