Sangmyung University Conducts Essential ICT Training Program for Employment During Summer Vacation
University Job Plus Center Offers Courses on Computer Proficiency Level 2 and Programming
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] Sangmyung University’s University Job Plus Center announced on the 20th that it will conduct essential ICT employment training courses to enhance students' employment competitiveness during the summer vacation period.
This course, aimed at current students, graduates, and other job seekers, consists of ▲ Computer Utilization Level 2 ▲ App Programming ▲ GTQ (Photoshop Level 1) ▲ ITQ (Excel Level 1). The Computer Utilization Level 2 course will be offered both in-person and online. The courses will run from the end of June to the end of August.
The in-person Computer Utilization Level 2 course will be held from the 27th to July 8th and will target about 50 participants, including current students and local youth seeking employment. It will take place in the computer lab on Sangmyung University’s Seoul campus and is designed to prepare participants for the national technical qualification Computer Utilization Level 2 certificate, organized by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Sangmyung University has been operating the University Job Center project since 2015 and has received the highest rating in the annual evaluation four times. Earlier this year, it was reselected for the follow-up University Job Plus Center project and continues to provide ongoing employment support services to young job seekers.
