The Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education has been promoting the installation of Green Meal Bars that enable the operation of a vegetarian choice system to strengthen food education and enhance the educational environment.
In April, the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education called for applications from schools to install Green Meal Bars. After screening, 76 schools (45 elementary schools, 14 middle schools, 12 high schools, and 5 special schools) were selected, and budget allocation and operational consulting were completed.
Schools installing Green Meal Bars will receive a budget of 2 million KRW per school. The budget can be used for installation costs, operational expenses, vegetable purchases, and labor costs related to the Green Meal Bars.
