Gyeonggi-do, Gwacheon-si 'Comprehensive Audit'
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province will conduct a comprehensive audit of Gwacheon City from the 20th to the 30th of this month.
This comprehensive audit is based on the '2022 Audit Plan' and will be carried out with a focus on ensuring maximum autonomy in local government affairs while addressing unjust illegal acts causing inconvenience to residents, public service corruption, and the implementation status of delegated tasks.
The province will particularly focus the audit on areas of public officials' misconduct such as passive administration and lax discipline, corruption-prone sectors, improvement of unfair institutional practices, and the soundness and efficiency of agency operations.
Additionally, during the audit period, a 'Public Audit System' will be operated to receive reports on illegal or unjust work processing, demands for improvement of unreasonable systems and practices, public officials' corrupt acts, fraudulent claims of public funds, or illegal operations.
