Sejong University - Sejong Cyber University, 4th Sejong Startup Item Contest Held
Applications Accepted Until the 10th of Next Month
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] The Sejong University Campus Town Support Center, in collaboration with the Department of Business Administration at Sejong Cyber University, is hosting the "4th Sejong Startup Item Contest."
According to Sejong University on the 18th, this contest aims to establish a virtuous cycle structure that creates jobs through cooperation between Sejong University and Gwangjin District and returns benefits to the local community.
The contest consists of two categories: General and VR·AR. The General category accepts business ideas related to information and communication technology (IT), dining, distribution, services, and convergence startups, while the VR·AR category accepts business ideas integrated with VR·AR technology.
The judging will be conducted in two rounds. The first round evaluates the feasibility of the item, the capability of the business entity, and the execution and effectiveness of the business. The results of the first round will be announced on the 18th of next month, and the final judging results will be announced on August 10th. Applications for the contest must be submitted by 6 p.m. on the 10th of next month.

Winning teams will be selected by category: one grand prize team, two excellence award teams, and two merit award teams. The prize money is 2 million KRW for the grand prize, 1 million KRW for the excellence awards, and 500,000 KRW for the merit awards.
