Ceragem Appoints Elon Musk's Mother, Maye Musk, as Global Ambassador
[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] Ceragem announced on the 16th that it has appointed Maye Musk, the mother of Tesla's founder and a famous model, as its global ambassador.
Maye Musk is a renowned model with a 50-year career, having graced the covers of major magazines such as Time, Sports Illustrated, and Vogue. At the age of 74, she remains actively engaged as a model, author, and nutritionist. It is known that after divorcing at the age of 31, she raised three children on her own while working.
As Ceragem's global ambassador, Maye Musk will participate in various marketing campaigns, including photo shoots and videos. Ceragem explained that she was deemed the ideal candidate to enhance the brand's value due to her positive image based on her unique vigorous energy and activity, as well as her contribution to consumers' healthy lives, with her father having worked as a chiropractic specialist and herself as a nutrition expert.
Based on this global ambassador appointment, Ceragem plans to further expand its overseas business, including in the United States. Earlier this year, Ceragem simultaneously opened three directly operated experience stores in key areas of California and plans to increase the number of stores to up to 10 this year.
A Ceragem official said, "We expect that Maye Musk's positive energy and her spirit of challenge, having overcome numerous hardships, will create good synergy with Ceragem's brand direction," adding, "We will strive to continuously expand our leadership in new markets such as the United States through this global ambassador appointment."
