30s-40s Hold Drug Party at Hotel... Unconscious Despite Police Arrival
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] A group of people in their 30s and 40s who held a drug party at a hotel were arrested by the police.
On the 16th, the Yeongdeungpo Police Station in Seoul announced that they had arrested four men and women, including a man in his 40s identified as Mr. A, on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act.
According to the police, the group is suspected of collectively inhaling methamphetamine and other drugs at a hotel in Yeongdeungpo-gu around 12:40 a.m. that day.
The four men and women in their 30s and 40s were reportedly in an intoxicated and incoherent state when the police arrived at the scene.
During the police investigation, it was revealed that Mr. A was naturalized from China, while the rest of the group were all Chinese nationals.
The police have not yet conducted an investigation as the suspects remain in custody in an intoxicated state.
