Gwangju Seobu Fire Station, Specialized Training for Fire Special Investigators
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Gwangju Western Fire Station announced on the 15th that it conducted specialized training for fire special investigators to enhance their capabilities.
The training held at the Gwangju Fire Academy included ▲theoretical education on the operating principles of fire pumps ▲practical training on inspection methods for gas and water-based fire extinguishing systems ▲sharing of frequently occurring cases at civil complaint sites.
Participants expressed high satisfaction as they could operate and inspect various fire facilities, which were usually difficult to handle due to safety concerns, without any burden.
Jo Yong-bok, Director of the Prevention and Safety Division, said, “Fire special investigations are a very important part that involves both fire prevention and law enforcement,” adding, “We will do our best to provide better fire services through continuous training.”
